Dr. Sam Joseph MD is a fellow in the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism program at Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC and treats patients at the Carolina Health Specialists Endocrinology Clinic. His office is accepting new patients.
Dr. Joseph received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. After medical school, he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA in 2022. Among his many accomplishments and accolades, Dr. Joseph was the recipient of the Most Outstanding Graduate Resident and Teaching Resident of the Year (2022) awards.
He treats a variety of endocrine disorders including Diabetes, Thyroid and Parathyroid disease, Adrenal disorders, Pituitary disorders, Osteoporosis and Bone Metabolism disorders, and Reproductive Endocrine disorders. He performs procedures such as Thyroid Ultrasound, Ultrasound guided Fine Needle Aspiration of Thyroid Nodules in the office and Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) examination in the hospital.
Dr. Joseph is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE), Philadelphia Endocrine Society, and American Medical Association (AMA). He is involved in teaching residents and medical students at Grand Strand Medical Center. His future interests include Interventional Endocrinology and minimally invasive thyroid cancer treatments.
