In regards to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Carolina Health Specialists holds the safety of our patients, visitors and employees as its highest priority. Carolina Health continues to closely monitor developments involving COVID-19 and will follow all mandates issued by our local and state health departments as well the CDC. Carolina Health Specialists' clinical staff is highly trained in infection prevention protocols and will continue to work to maintain the safety of its patients.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19?
HOW DOES THIS AFFECT MY OFFICE VISIT?
At this time Carolina Health Specialists has not cancelled any future appointments and patients can still schedule appointments as normal.
We would like to advise patients that prior to being seen they will be asked the following three questions at the front desk when checking in for an appointment or over the phone when making an appointment:
- Have you been having fevers?
- Do you have a significant cough or shortness of breath?
- Have you traveled recently or been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 (Coronavirus)?
NOTE: We ask that all patients notify staff if they have traveled out of the area recently.
WHAT STEPS CAN I TAKE TO PROTECT MYSELF AND OTHERS?
Public health officials have recommend the following steps to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- Do not go to work and avoid going out in public when you are sick
- Avoid close contact with other people who are sick
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Wash your hands often by using either soap and water or alcohol based hand sanitizer
- Use a tissue to cover your cough or sneeze
- Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces which are frequently touched
