Background:
Dr. Japjot Chahal received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Aureus University School of Medicine in Oranjestad, Aruba. He then completed his internal medicine residency and pulmonology and critical care fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
Dr. Chahal is a member of the American College of Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Thoracic Society, and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Japjot Chahal speaks many languages including English, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and some French and Spanish.
