IGNACIO GALLARDO, M.D.

Ignacio Gallardo, M.D., earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Veterans Administration Medical Center–University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, followed by fellowship training in Adult Cardiology at the same institution. He further advanced his expertise through fellowship training in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Gallardo is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He also holds certification from the National Board of Echocardiography in Adult Echocardiography, Critical Care Echocardiography, and Basic Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
